Online Auction August 7-10th

Please Carefully Read the Following Online Auction Details and make sure you can accommodate & agree with these details:

Consignments will be open to receive pictures and descriptions on July 24th  and will close August 2nd at 9pm. All consignments MUST be in by August 2nd  . NO CONSIGNMENTS OR ADDITIONAL PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN OR ADDED TO AUCTION AFTER THE DEADILINE, we must have proper time to advertise the auction once all consignments are in.

CONSIGNMENTS MUST BE IN THE FOLLOWING FORMAT ONLY: Pictures, followed by a Full description, ending with the bottom dollar reserve. (Unless you feel one is not needed) Then the next consignment. First time online consignors must First include Name, address, phone number and Email address for your online sellers profile for our records.  Then a couple good clean pictures of each animal (different angles encouraged) along with a detailed description of age, sex, temperament, possibly what the animals have been used for. If you are consigning miniature donkeys, Mini horse or mini Cattle, a height must be include with a picture measurement. If a picture measurement cannot be provided we will only advertise the height as approximate. If you are advertising an animal as bred it must have a vet confirmation or it will be advertised as exposed or possibly bred. We will get all your consignments posted on all of our sites and entered in the online program. You must list a reserve (bottom dollar price) on your consignments unless your confident the highest bid price will satisfy you for what the animal is worth. please include that with your pictures and descriptions other wise it will be sold to the highest bidder. 

The online Auction starts live bidding August 7th and closes August 10th starting at 7pm. Drop off of all sold animals and consignors check pick up is August 15th from 2-6pm or August 16th from 7am-11am All animals must be dropped off by 11am August 16th at the NEMO Fair Grounds in Kirksville, Missouri. Plan accordingly, don’t be late for drop off. Being late can cause you to forfeit your sales and participation in future online auctions. We have to stay strict on these times to allow our veterinarian ample time to do his job to satisfy our USDA licenses. Vet inspection is from 11am-1pm. This is to satisfy our USDA and Missouri state license requirements for vet inspection. At this time MO Dept of Ag rule is that all animals sold through a licensed market has to come to the market to be available for inspection by our market Veterinarian.  Any questions please reach out to Daryle 660-216-1492 

Caged animals/Birds have to be in USDA approved cages/enclosure with ample room to stand up and turn about with a Food & water cup fixed inside. Cups must be hard plastic or Metal. Clean dry bedding in all cages. All pet shop bird cages must have handles and an access door. No part of a Petshop animal or bird can be able to protrude outside the cage/enclosure. All caged animals, birds, poultry, reptiles etc. will sell with cage. RABBITS MUST HAVE A SOLID BOTTOM ON THE CAGE.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SELLING ANIMALS:

ALL EQUINE MUST HAVE COGGINS TEST IN HAND WHEN CHECKED IN. WE WILL NOT OFFER COGGINS BLOOD DRAW FOR ONLINE ANIMALS, if you don’t have a coggins you will forfeit that sale. ALL CATTLE OVER 6 MONTHS OLD THAT ARE NOT LEAD BROKE OR HANDABLE MUST HAVE HEALTH PAPERS WITH USDA TAG ON PAPERS AND IN HAND WHEN CHECKED IN, IF THEY ARE COMPLETELY LEAD BROKE OR WOULD BE EASY TO APPLY EAR TAGS THEN HEALTH PAPERS ARE NOT NEEDED. BULLS OVER 18 MONTHS OF AGE MUST HAVE A TRICH TEST IN HAND WHEN CHECKED IN. CAMELS MUST HAVE HEALTH PAPERS WITH USDA TAG ON THEM AND IN HAND AT CHECK IN. ALL OUT OF STATE POULTRY REQUIRE PULLORUM TEST WITHIN 90 DAYS OR NPIP CERTIFICATION & ENTRY PERMIT. OUT OF STATE WATERFOWL WILL REQUIRE AVAIN INFLUENZA TEST AND ENTRY PERMIT. SHEEP/GOATS CAN BE SCRAPIES TAGGED AT OUR FACILITY FOR A $3 CHARGE. You must notify us when you consign if your sheep, goat, Llama, Alpaca, pig or cattle don’t have the federally required metal tag in its ear. 

PET SHOP ANIMALS. BIRDS & REPTILES DON’T REQUIRE ANY TESTING. ALL OTHER EXOTICS ARE SUBJECT TO TESTING REQUIREMENTS BASED ON SPECIES. 

Pigs 30lbs or less must sell with a cage included. ( our pens aren’t small enough to house pigs 30lbs or less with out escaping)

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE IN GOOD HEALTH, AND REPRESENTED CORRECTLY. POULTRY MUST BE HEALTHY AND NOT TREATED FOR ANY SICKNESS WITH IN THE LAST 30 DAYS. IF ANY ANIMAL COMES TO OUR BARN AT CHECK IN THAT IS VISIBLY SICK OR DOEST NOT SHOW TO BE AS DESCRIBED AT TIME OF CONSIGNMENT YOU WILL FORFEIT THAT SALE AND NOT PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ONLINE AUCTIONS. 

Commission Rates & Fees:

Hoofstock,Camelids,Kangaroo,Ratites 10% No Sale $10

Caged animals/Birds 20% No Sale $5 

Peafowl, Swans, Ornamental Pheasant 15% No Sale $5

Scrapies & USDA tags $3 head

All hoofstock has $1 a head yardage/handling fee. 

We have to apply the No sale fees to every lot not sold do to the advertising time and cost of building the online auctions. 

Minimum commission per lot is $2 please remember that when consigning, more than one animal in a lot can help with that minimum. We have a monthly in-person auction that is best for single small consignments such as single Roosters, unregistered rabbits, Guinea pigs and non- purebred baby chicks. We will inform you if your consignment will be better suited for Inperson auctions to save on commission fees. 

The new owners buyers must pick the animals up from 1 PM to 6PM August 16th NO ANIMALS WILL BE LOADED OUT TO THE NEW BUYERS UNTIL AFTER 1PM. Consignors are more than welcome to stay to meet the buyers but you are not required.
